Terms of Service

✦1. The service

Glassy is a new-tab productivity extension. It offers a free tier and an optional paid Pro subscription that unlocks additional features and cloud sync. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

✦2. Accounts

An account is optional and is created by signing in with Google. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your Google account secure. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

✦3. Subscriptions & payments

• ▸Pro is offered as a monthly or yearly subscription. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
• ▸Payments and billing are handled by Paddle, our Merchant of Record and reseller. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle's buyer terms.
• ▸You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the current billing period. We do not store your card details.
• ▸Donations are voluntary one-time payments and do not grant Pro features.

✦4. Refunds

Refund requests are handled through Paddle. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, contact us at the email below or use the receipt Paddle sent you, and we will assist.

✦5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse Glassy — including attempting to bypass paid features, reverse-engineer or disrupt the service, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

✦6. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you create in Glassy (notes, to-dos, links, settings). For Pro users with sync enabled, you grant us the limited right to store and transmit that content solely to provide the sync service. See our Privacy Policy.

✦7. Intellectual property

Glassy, its name, logo, and software are owned by the developer. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or code beyond using the extension as intended.

✦8. Disclaimer

Glassy is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data sync will never fail. Keep your own backups (Settings → Export).

✦9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of Glassy. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

✦10. Termination

You may stop using Glassy and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms.

✦11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms; the "Last updated" date will reflect changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

✦12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Payment transactions are additionally governed by Paddle's terms.
